Let There Be Rock
Sunday I am going to see AC/DC. The fact that this concert is happening on a Sunday seems out of the ordinary, but I will suck it up and make it to work the next morning. My biggest dilemma is I don't know what to wear.
My hairball spouse is wearing an actual band t-shirt. I have no idea what has come over him! Anyone that knows him can tell you that the thought of seeing him in a concert t-shirt is weird...totally out of character. I think empty nest syndrome is working him more than it is me. He ordered the damn thing off the internet especially for the concert, and I am being honest when I say this FREAKS me out. He spent major bucks (again weird) for these tickets. One of our first dates was an AC/DC concert, so I guess in some twisted way this is romantic.
I can't wear what I wore in 1989, because I think it looked something like this:
I was all about the ripped jeans, belts an boots. Remember I was 18, so don't hold it against me. I once had the figure to pull this off. I had a red top very similar...YIKES! Just so you have some perspective, I also wore a lot of Liz Claiborne sweaters, so I didn't always look like a hoochie groupie.
So, tell me friends, what does a 40 year old woman wear to a rock concert?
Next, I have to give props to this band. I don't know what it is, but their music vibrates under the surface of my skin and makes me feel like a badass.
